Hi friends, my name is Anthony, I’m a wedding, portrait & lifestyle photographer based in Bromsgrove, in Worcestershire,  I love good coffee, custard filled donuts, I have a very sweet tooth, I love spending time with family, I laugh a lot, I mean a lot! I love the thrill of travel, experiencing new destinations, cultures, spending time in nature, meeting new people and having a good old conversation.

At a young age I was drawn to the way photography allowed me to see beauty in everyday life. With a camera by my side, I saw the way the light cast a glow on my grandfather's and grandmothers faces and the way my dog looked illuminated in the afternoon sun. Photography has quite literally given me a new outlook on life, and now I have the incredible opportunity to tell people's stories through the lens of my camera. This means more than just showing up. It means learning about the history of your relationship, the little quirks that make you laugh, and the things you both hold dear to your heart.

I am incredibly fortunate to do what I love on a daily basis, I consider myself blessed to be with couples on the happiest day of their lives. I strive to capture the little moments between shots - the brief glances from across the room or the comfort felt by a simple brush of affection, capturing the celebration of love with loved ones gathered is a honour and a privilege that I will always cherish.

I’m the type of photographer who loves to capture people “in the moment”. Many consider this a photo-journalistic approach, but I interpret it slightly differently. I blend the raw emotion of photojournalism with the seductive aura of fashion photography to create images of romance and timeless elegance. I strive to achieve a natural aesthetic that lets the true beauty and enchantment of life speak for itself, while nudging moments ever so slightly to make my images truly stand out.

I love incorporating natural light and candid posing into my photography to help tell a story and really help personalities shine in my images! My goal is always to capture your relationship and beauty in a genuine and timeless way. I love helping potential brides and grooms capture their vision just as they dreamt it. Your family will cherish the artwork and final products that we will create for many generations, after all your wedding photos are the only thing you have to look back on from your special day.

Based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire in the West Midlands, but I frequently travel across the UK and Europe helping capture my brides and grooms special days, but also available to capture adventurous love stories anywhere in the world.

Frequently Asked Questions,

How do we book Anthony?

  • First, you need to check if I'm available on your date. You can do this online or by giving me a call. Our first meeting will be to discuss your wedding requirements, usually at a coffee shop, or even at your house. If you are not able to come to me, I can come to you, if you live some distance away we could even have a Skype call, it's a completely informal chat. Should you wish to book, just complete a booking form and return it to me with a 10% deposit, your date will be locked in.

What are your rates?

  • Collections start at £850. If you'd like any more information about please feel free to get in touch about a meeting or Skype call.

What packages and services do you offer?

  • I know just how daunting the whole process of picking a wedding photographer can be, so I've tried to keep things as simple as possible. If you would like a little more information about what to look for when choosing a Wedding Photographer please feel free to have a look at this. Help choosing a Wedding Photographer.

Are there travel costs?

  • Travel is included with all of the Collections inside the UK, if you require me to travel outside of the UK, travel costs will have to be paid by the client.

Can I have a USB of my wedding images?

  • Selected Collections come with a USB which includes all of your colour corrected images from your wedding day. They’re your pictures and you can do pretty much as you like with them.  For copyright restrictions please click this link. But of course there’s a huge difference between a print you make at your local printers, and those I can print for you. I leave the choice up to you.

Can friends and family view and buy images?

  • All images selected are placed onto our password-protected proofing site. If you give friends and family the link and password they can also view your images and buy any images that they’d like.

Will we meet with Anthony before the wedding?

  • Theirs nothing more important to me than you, and your wedding day, we can meet as many times as you would like. Coming up to your wedding day, it is very important to finalise the details about the big day, this will allow you and me to talk through any ideas you may have and to answer any questions you may have, ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly.

How long will Anthony stay at the wedding?

  • This depends on the collection. Generally other wedding photographers will be with you for between 5 and 7 hours, dependant off the collection you pick, I will be with you from 30 minutes before the bride starts getting ready and 30 minutes before the bar closes. Remember if the Bride is getting ready at 10am, then seven hours will only take you up to 5pm, during our first meeting we can discuss this in much more detail, as optional hours can provided at extra charge.

How long before we see are pictures after the wedding?

  • Between 3 and 4 weeks, you will receive a link and a personal password to our online wedding gallery. This will allow you to view all images from the day, as well as selecting those you would like for your album.

How does the album design process work?

  • After you have viewed and picked your images, I personally design the album layout, to ensure that it accurately reflects the events of your special day. This can then be proofed through the online gallery (password protected). Once you're happy with the design, we will deliver your album to you. As my albums are handmade this process can take a couple of months.

How many images are in my album?

  • This depends on the collection and album choice, all albums come with 30 pages or 15 spreads, usually each album is finished with between 45 and 55 images.

Can I customise the package further?

  • Additional hours, hand finished prints, thank you cards, and a variety of digital products - these can all be added on an "a la carte" basis as desired. Albums can also be upgraded, this will also be at an "a la carte" price.

I hate posing for pictures. Do I have to pose?

  • I absolutely know what you mean. I actually hate posing for pictures too! The photography is cut up into five section, bride getting ready, ceremony, details, creatives and family formals, my style is all about capturing the real you and the joy of your wedding day, but some of the family photos will be of a "semi posed" nature, this is something we can talk about nearer the wedding date.

Do you take traditional wedding photographs?

  • I do take traditional family pictures in addition to our more lifestyle documentary style. While they may not be as exciting as some of our more informal images, I do appreciate the value and the history behind the traditional family portrait, after all we are capturing memories of you and you family on one of the biggest days of your life, to be shared for generations to come, but since each wedding is unique, I decide, in discussion with you, how much time is spent on traditional groups.

Are you insured?

  • Yes I am fully insured. I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Do you do videos?

  • Unfortunately not, I focus exclusively on still photography.

What cameras do you use?

  • I use professional Canon DSLR cameras, coupled with several top of the range professional lenses, and a host of lighting gear and modifiers.

Can we pay part before and part after the wedding?

  • No, I’m afraid not. All payment must be received in full 14 days before the wedding date, although I can arrange a payment plan allowing you to pay over a period of time.

Do you offer gift certificates

Are you getting married in or around Bromsgrove? Who will be your Worcestershire Wedding Photographers?

Wedding Collections start from £850, if you would like more information about the other Collections and other services I provided please don't hesitate to get in touch, you can do this either by filling out the contact me form, sending me an email at, or giving me a ring on 07832954643.

Here is a list of some of the things you should consider when looking for a Bromsgrove wedding photographer.

  • When selecting a wedding photographer you are selecting more than just a photographer for your wedding day. You are hiring a wedding photographer that will be with you, your family and your group all day on your wedding day. Personality is a huge part of the selection process and should not be overlooked or discounted in any way

  • Your Bromsgrove wedding photographer’s personality can set the tone for your entire wedding day and your bridal party. Ultimately it can impact your wedding photography altogether. You will more than likely be working with your wedding photographer for a year, or longer in some cases, by the time you factor in your engagement session and post wedding photography and albums.

  • While price is always a factor when selecting your wedding photographer, it should not be the only thing that matters. All too often we hear horror stories from brides who made a decision for their wedding photography based purely on price. It turns out to be foolish in the end. When its all said and done, your wedding photography will be all you have to remember your wedding day.

Wedding Albums

  • What will you do with all your images from your wedding photographer? Most people opt to place them in a beautifully designed wedding album that your wedding photographer should provide you with. Don’t underestimate the importance of a wedding album from your wedding day. This is your first family heirloom and your one keepsake you will have forever to remember your wedding.

  • When selecting a Birmingham wedding photographer you should look for an album that best represents you and your new family. Wedding albums come in all shapes and sizes. Questions you should ask. Your wedding photographer 1) How many pages come in the wedding album? 2) How many images will be in the wedding album? 3) What leather options are available for my wedding album?

  • Something often overlooked, when selecting a Bromsgrove wedding photographer is the number of hours that will be offered during the coverage of your wedding. Typically you will want your wedding photographer to be with you to document all the moments of your wedding day. After all, that’s what you are hiring them for. That being said, typical coverage requirements for your wedding day should be about 8-10 hours.

  • Be careful here. Some wedding photographers offer cut-rate prices by offering you less than adequate wedding coverage for your day. These become hidden costs and once you realise it, it’s often too late.

What is an Engagement Session?

What is an Engagement Session?

What is an Engagement Session?

  • You've seen the wedding blogs, the bridal shows, the professional looking shots on Facebook of your engaged friends laughing and kissing each other with the sun setting behind them. In the photography industry its called an Engagement Photoshoot or Engagement Session, essentially its just a chance for a professional photographer to capture two people very much in love, who want to share it with the world. More than that though it's a chance for you guys to see how I shoot and for us to get to know each other. If you've never had a photographer move within inches of you it can seem a little intimidating, this session allows you to get comfortable in front of camera so that there are no surprises on the big day. These sessions can be as fun and elaborate as you guys want them to be. At the end of the photoshoot i’d like it so that you guys not only remember how fantastic the day and the photoshoot was but also the great date you've just had… which a photographer just tagged along. These beautiful photographers have been used in “save-the-date” cards or websites, announcements or even incorporated into wedding day decor pieces. My personal favourite way of using the photographs is a guest signing book for you're wedding day, one page would be an image from the engagement session, the next would be a space for your guests to sign.

What happens during the session?

  • Once we've decided on a location, a typical session lasts any where from one and two hours. During our time together, I will get you comfortable with the idea of being photographed. Its meant to be fun and it is, and thats what I try to capture, there will be a few “poses” but I'm generally trying to capture the real moments between you two and that natural smile that only happens just after laughing. We’ll play with the environment and the immediate surroundings, we will use the available light and try to get your personalities to shine through. Sometimes i’ll really like a spot and we will stay a little longer there to get the perfect balance between chemistry and environment.

What should I wear?

  • This is simple, something fun, something nice but most importantly something you! If you wear a bow tie and geek chic glasses, wear them, a floral summer dress and a pair of cowboy boots, wear them, just remember these are your photos to look back on for years to come, my best advice is keep it timeless. As for colours I like the idea of having some contrast between you andyour environment, I also recommend some layering, this will allow for a variety of looks, and also will come in handy if the weather drops, you know what British weather can be like.

Can we do something Creative?

  • Absolutely we can, do you want to put a throne in the middle of a field of wildflowers, we can do that, Have a dessert only picnic in the middle of a desert, we most certainly can, a miniature bowling shoot, I'm not sure what that is, but lets give it go! This session is about letting your personalities out and letting them shine, what better way of doing this than crafting a shoot around a theme or style that is reflective of who you are individually and as a couple. Of course it doesn't have to be elaborate for it to be beautiful. Creativity and originality can come in all shapes and sizes.
